Hola! I am Dani, the founder of Amigas Latinas. I was born and raised in Costa Rica, moved to California, and since then lived somewhat of a nomad lifestyle. I went to school in the Bay Area at San Jose State and got my bachelors in Marketing. My experience ranges from small tech start ups, Big 4 consulting experience, and now currently working at a midsize tech company.

When I moved to NYC in August of 2023, I felt siloed and lacked a sense of belonging in a new city. I merged my passions from my corporate role (event planning, leading presentations, hosting enablement sessions) and created Amigas Latinas!

Having already been in the content creation space as @wfhdani, I took my social media skills and put them to the test to build out this community. It quickly grew to 700+ Amigas in less than 2 months!
